Cedar Hill ISD is a diverse school district that prepares every scholar by unlocking their potential and channeling it toward a successful pathway. CHISD was founded in 1904 and is the premiere school district in the Best Southwest region of Dallas.

Waterford Oaks Elementary School was dedicated in August 1990 and now serves several rapidly growing neighborhoods of the Cedar Hill Independent School District.

The Cedar Hill Council of PTAs provides leadership, advocacy, communication, and guidance to our 11 local PTAs in CHISD. Our membership is made up of parents, students, staff, and community members who volunteer countless hours a year.

Founded in 2002, the Cedar Hill ISD Education foundation is an independent non-profit organization.
Mission: To support education by providing resources to inspire staff and impact student lives.
